I bought my first digital camera in 2004 and really got into photography during my gap year travels. After saving up for what seems like a lifetime I upgraded to the Canon EOS 400D SLR.

Archways, Doorways
By far my biggest photographic obsession.
It all began in Mexico in March 2005 when I saw some prints of crumbling archways and colourful doorways taken by a well-known local photographer. On the strength of his photos we decided to take a trip to his home town of Zacatecas - otherwise known as photographic heaven!!
The first 13 photos on this album were taken there. The rest are from other Mexican towns, Peru, Argentina, Chile and Madrid.

Flora and Fauna
All wildlife was photographed in the wild, with the exception of the koalas which were in a national park.
The seals live on the Ballearas Islands (Peru) and the Ibex and Camels are in the Negev Desert (Israel).
